Ben & Laura

Fifteen days and counting, right guys?!

My friends Ben & Laura are getting married in just a couple of weeks, and we finally got out for their engagement photos! Here are some fun ones:

Nothing more romantic than taking pictures in the middle of the street in rush hour 😉

Can’t WAIT for the big day, my friends!

I LOVE downtown Glendale! I spend a lot of time there photographing kids and high school seniors, and Cee Cee, from Cee Cee’s on the Corner, is nice enough to let me take over her staircase for many of those pictures. She serves, fresh, home-made Mexican food that is super tasty! The service is great and the menu very reasonably priced.

Check out her adorable restaurant:

Shannon & Dan

A few weeks ago I had my first experience at The Castle with Shannon & Dan. These two were so laid back and fun, and Shannon’s eye for detail made it such a beautiful event.

Here are a few of my favorites:

They had two of the most beautiful flower girls I’ve ever seen!

Here are the gentlemen

Look at this handsome little man. His collar matches the bridesmaid dresses!

You can’t beat sunset at The Castle

Check out Shannon’s rock!

Here is the most intricate cake I’ve ever seen! Those flowers are made of icing!!

Shannon & Dan, thanks so much for letting me be a part of your day!

How much do I love photographing babies?!  Several months ago I took maternity pictures of a good friend of mine from High School, and a couple of days ago I got to photograph the little man, now 6 months old.

Here is precious Landon!

He’s so smiley!

He’s also very interested in his feet 🙂

Hilary & Justin

On February 9th I had the privilege of photographing Hilary and Justin’s big day at Ashley Manor in Chandler. It is SUCH a beautiful venue, and these two are so dang cute I knew they’d be a blast to photograph. I guess it doesn’t hurt when your bride is the former Miss Arizona 🙂 Here are some of my favorites:

Mom getting choked up as her beautiful daughter’s hair and makeup is completed

The ring bearer would only smile at me under the guise of his twig mustache 🙂

And there she is, getting teary looking up at her soon to be hubby

Even the bride’s room at the manor is spectacular – check out that leopard print!

The gorgeous grounds of the manor

Here’s a shout out to the Fresh Prince with some “Jump on It”

Justin took the advice of his guys and went with the teeth

These two aren’t at all dramatic 😉 They spontaneously busted out with a performance of “Grease”

These guys were sooooo much fun! Hilary & Justin – thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!

Here I Go!

I’ve finally decided to catch up with the rest of the photography world and blog!

I plan to update my blog with favorites from my latest weddings and portrait shoots, so check back to see some fun photographs of the cool people whose lives I have the privilege of documenting.

Who better to start with than my good friends Heidi & Brady!   I get to spend time with these two at our church, Open Door Fellowship, where we spend time with high schoolers.  They’re getting married in June, which called for some engagement photos!

They laughed pretty much the whole time 🙂

I feel as though this next shot is very representative of them 🙂

Spying on them from the top of the parking garage
I love you guys and am so excited for you to begin your life together!!
