I think Halloween is going to be a lot more fun from now on

On September 8th, at 12:47 pm the newest member of our family finally arrived!!!  

Meet Rori Kate (a.k.a Roar Kat, Cheeks, Little Pretty)…

The last few weeks have been filled with so much joy, exhaustion, and so so much love.  Thank you to everyone who has loved and taken care of my family in this process – David, Rori, and I are incredibly blessed by you!

A little while back I got the chance to be a part of Andrea & John’s big day in Sedona.  I LOVE shooting in Sedona, and Andrea & John were such a blast to be with!

These two and their friends and family came all of the way from Chicago to have a sunny wedding day at the Royal Palms Resort…so of course it rained all day!  The rain let up just long enough for a beautiful ceremony & some photos outside.  Even with the rain, Yasmeen’s hard work and attention to detail made this day BEAUTIFUL.

I love that their last name is Meister

I’ve learned that backyard weddings can be hit or miss.  Bethany & Karl, with the help of their coordinator Drew Coleman of Heidi’s Events & Catering, definitely had a HIT!  We had SUCH a fun time with these two and their precious little girl on their big day in this gorgeous Phoenix backyard.

I just found out that I’m one of WeddingWire’s 2009 Bride’s Choice Winners!  Such a great surprise – I didn’t know that these awards were being given out!  Here’s a press release from WeddingWire to give you a little info:
